Hello and welcome to Cook Veggielicious – a vegan recipe blog with meat free and easy recipes for everyone. My name is Mandy Mazliah, newish vegan, long term vegetarian and the blogger behind kid food blog Sneaky Veg.
The recipes here are simple enough for beginner vegans and delicious enough for everyone to enjoy. Where possible I use seasonal produce.
I decided to commit to being vegan after taking part in Veganuary in January 2018. I was so inspired and had so many ideas for vegan recipes that didn’t sit right on Sneaky Veg (which is aimed at getting kids to eat their fruit and veg) that I decided to start Cook Veggielicious as a place to share my vegan recipe ideas.
Veggielicious is for everyone who wants to eat more plant based food, whether you’ve made the commitment to be a vegan or vegetarian or would just like to eat more plants in your daily diet. You’ll find easy, tasty vegan recipes and ideas here as well as vegan meal ideas and ideas for using up veg box vegetables. So far the majority of posts are vegan dinner recipes, but this is slowly changing to include more vegan breakfast, snack and dessert recipes.
I live in the UK so you’ll find my vegan recipes are written using the metric system. Most of my dishes are simple and are ideal vegan recipes for beginners to try. See my vegan recipes here.
I’ll also be publishing vegan product, book and restaurant reviews on occasion.
I’m really looking forward to embarking on a new foodie and blogging project with this vegan recipe blog and I hope you’ll enjoy sharing my journey with me.
