Cranberry, almond and cinnamon granola (vegan)

Homemade granola is a world away from the over-sweet shop bought variety. My cranberry, almond and cinnamon granola has plenty of crunch, is packed full of flavour and is suitable for vegans. Delicious for breakfast or straight from the jar!

  • 300 g jumbo oats
  • 100 g pumpkin or sunflower seeds or a mix
  • 100 g chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt optional
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 100 ml maple syrup
  • 100 g dried cranberries


  1. Preheat the oven to 100°C (fan)/120°C/ gas mark 1.
  2. Line a large baking tray with non stick paper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients apart from the cranberries together in a mixing bowl and spread out evenly over the baking tray.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, remove and stir, then return to the oven and bake for a further 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the tray.
  6. Add the cranberries and mix well.
  7. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place
