Hate sprouts? I used to as well. But now I know how to prepare Brussels sprouts properly they're one of my favourite veggies. Read on to find out how to clean, prepare and cook them so you can enjoy them at their best.
Use a sharp knife to remove them from the stem if still attached.
Trim off any tough or damaged outer leaves and the stalk end.
Give your sprouts a good clean (see the text in the blog post above this card for more detail. First cut them off the stem, then peel off the larger, outer leaves. Place in a colander and give them a good wash under the tap.
If your sprouts are large you may wish to cut them in half.
